In 2009 I participated in a youtube project called “my message to the world”. This was my submission. I just watched this video over again, haven’t really seen it since 2009. There are so many great messages out there. 

This is a bit of a long shot but I’m going to ask you anyway. What’s YOUR message to the world? If you take a picture - will you please tag it as “mymessagetotheworld” so I can go see them? Or, so anyone else can track the tag and be inspired?

I know I posted this picture earlier but I forgot to tag it as personal. Reblogging, just as a proper show off because this is what I look at all day now. Someone said “they grow up so fast” and inside my head I thought “you’re right, I need to treasure all those moments” and I picked up my camera and started taking pictures. 

This is Nick. He’s 14 weeks and 5 days old. He’s a whippet and he’s been mine for… about 2.5 days. It’s amazing how easily they get attached. How he just… looks into my eyes and expects me to protect him from everything, always - just like that. Loving a dog is so fucking easy. It’s either there - or it’s not. No lies, no heartbreaks, no cheating, no foul play - just unconditional love. It seems so simple and with dogs, it is. 

And it’s wonderful.
